What's Involved
Identification
Different fly species require different approaches. We identify whether you're dealing with cluster flies, bluebottles, drain flies, fruit flies, or another species before deciding on the right treatment.
Treatment
Cluster fly loft infestations are treated with a residual insecticide smoke or spray. For recurring bluebottle problems we locate and remove the source (often a dead animal in a void). Commercial premises may benefit from UV light traps.
Prevention
We advise on proofing measures and, for commercial kitchens, can recommend and install fly control units that keep your premises compliant with food hygiene regulations year-round.

- Large numbers of slow-moving flies clustering on south-facing walls or windows in autumn - a classic sign of cluster flies
- Flies appearing inside the house from the loft, particularly on warm winter days
- Persistent bluebottles or greenbottles despite no obvious food source left out - may indicate a dead animal in a wall void or under floorboards
