- Bites in lines or clusters. Typically on skin exposed while sleeping: arms, shoulders, neck and legs, often in a rough line of three or four.
- Small dark spots on bedding. Digested blood appearing as dark pinhead spots on sheets, mattress seams and behind headboards.
- Shed skins and eggs. Translucent casings and tiny pale eggs in mattress seams, frame joints and behind loose wallpaper.

Do I need to throw away my mattress?
Usually not. In most cases the mattress can be treated successfully. We will tell you honestly if something is too heavily infested to save, but replacing furniture before treatment often just means the new item gets infested too.
How did I get bed bugs?
Almost always carried in on luggage, second-hand furniture or clothing, or from an adjoining property. They are not related to how clean a home is.
How many visits does it take?
Typically two or three over a few weeks. The gap between visits is deliberate, so newly hatched nymphs are treated before they can breed.
